We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails to join our team and help us further develop one of the most creative, effective, and innovative training platforms on the market today. 

In your role as a Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails, you play an integral part in building and maintaining web applications in Ruby on Rails and developing software inline with our existing software architecture and coding guidelines. Among advanced Ruby on Rails skills, Wahoo Fitness is looking for stellar candidates  with a passion for both developing, leadership, and making an impact on the lives of individuals across the globe.

Other duties include:

• Implementing new features and modules
• Building APIs that will be used by millions of users
• Writing automated tests
• Identifying and consume RubyGems that can assist with the development 

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 5+ years experience with building Ruby on Rails Web applications
• Experience with front-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with building RESTful API endpoints
• Experience with relational databases including MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with document/object-based databases including Redis or MongoDB
• A passion for Ruby on Rails and an appreciation for the benefits of agile workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for cycling and fitness technology
